Development at MATTER laboratories never stops, we are alway looking for solutions to tackle each and every surface. Our aim is to offer each skater the perfect solution for each track, each style of skating and each distance. The Matter track series began with XG, a wheel with incredible grip, then on to Code Red, the option for more grippy tracks. Then this season “Nuclear” was introduced, the perfect mix between grip and speed. It turned out to be a great solution for sprinters on the asphalt as well (mixing with Juice). Now we have taken the next step, “DEFCON”, a perfect mix of all the technologies Matter developed. It´s a wheel with EMT Core and convertible, making it super responsive and giving it a great bite, combined with the fastest polyurethane of the planet. DEFCON is the solution for fast tracks where you need to be able to react quickly and where you need bite and speed to really take you to incredibly fast times. DEFCON was first introduced at the Haining World championships. And it did not delude, multiple World titles and many medals were the result of the DEFCON launch. Surely DEFCON is here to stay!

The track races at the World championships in Haining, China just finished, and the conclusion is that MATTER DEFCON is another successtory of MATTER WHEELS. A large portion of all the medals was taken on Matter Defcon, many GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE medals only came around thanks to DEFCON. And it could have been more, but the limited number of wheels was sold out before racing started, so some strong skaters had no other option as to use other wheels. The thing that makes DEFCON so special is the unique mix of speed and grip. The EMT convertible core, together with the fastest PU of the planet now combine into a revolutionary track wheel.
